When nature is connected with God then the best form of world comes before the humans and to become evident of it we decided to visit Shivkhori in winters.Shivkhori is basically a Hindu pilgrimage site and a tourist spot situated in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir.It is surrounded by lofty mountains and beautiful trees.It is about 110 km away from Jammu.We were five members.We started our journey early in the morning at about 5 a.m. from home on car and reached Reasi after 3 hours.

To start the journey on foot which is 4.5 km to holy cave of Shivkhori one has to take the yatra access card and after receiving our cards we started our journey.If one can't travel on foot then one can heir a horse or a palki .Then we started our journey on foot ,we saw a lot of beauty created by nature and saw wonderful view of mountains and a  clear  river moving down to mountains .After travelling almost 4 km we reached Shivkhori cave but we faced two challenges one was to protect ourselves from monkey and another was to face a lot of crowd in front of cave .After 1 hr we entered into cave .The cave was very congested  and it was difficult for us to move through it .Then we reached our  main destination where the holy naturally made image of Lord SHIVA was presented before us, then we started  moving  out of  the cave .After that we all ate food as our stomachs were craving.I purchased some cold drinks and chips from the shopkeeper and  then we started our journey back to our home .My brother's son asked me for a dip in river  .Firstly, I thought about it then I decided to take bath in the river .

Finally we were in the way back to our home and in the way we saw a lot of clouds approaching towards us but these clouds were  fog .After travelling a lot of distance we returned to our home. This was the wonderful trip that I had ever had.
